In the language immersion environment of EELC, students learn to use English as a tool to excel in their ability to listen, read, speak, and write.
Through various interesting activities, this class helps students to communicate and improve their presentation skills.
Using grammar theory, students learn the rules of the English language naturally, by concentrating on the application and practice.
Mathematical concepts and thinking skills, such as patterning, shapes, size, weight, position, distance, time and money are taught through hands on learning experiences, as well as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and fractions.
Using their senses, students use creative thinking to learn how things work. Through conducting investigations and manipulating objects, they develop an understanding of the world around them. This provides the foundation for learning science, history and geography.
Our library contains both fiction and non-fiction books which students are encouraged to explore and read during this class, they may also borrow these books. The educational benefit of reading is emphasized through activities such as book reports and summary writing.
Through coding, students will learn basic concepts of computer science in English that are essential for the future. During coding and programming time, students will improve their critical thinking, communication skills, creativity, and collaboration skills.
A professional gym teacher helps students to interact, actively move, control movement and develop their coordination through various activities. These skills are improved through systematic lessons such as small muscle development and improvisation.
We believe in the importance of a positive mind, being courteous, sociable, and having a community consciousness in relation to school and society, such as friends, family, and neighbors. This is enhanced through the teaching of our Excellence Rules.
Through the works of famous artists from around the world, students learn about color, texture, shape, and form. Painting, drawing, making patterns, creating collages and various art techniques help students explore these famous artworks.
Students develop their motor coordination through music and movement, they also explore their emotions through a wide range of music, sound and dance.
Through a variety of ingredients and recipes, students learn new vocabulary and expressions, as well as improving creativity and enhancing cultural diversity. During baking and cooking time, students enjoy practically applying the lessons learned in the classroom.
9:30-10:10
This is a time for students to talk about and plan for the day ahead, helping them develop their self-confidence and independence. A morning snack is served while students enjoy a circle time discussion.
10:10-12:10
Students will undertake various activities such as Language & Literacy, Presentation & Speech, Grammar, Math & Numeracy, Science Discovery, and Library & Exploration as directed by the teacher.
12:10-12:40
The lunch menu promotes healthy eating habits with an organic diet. Students learn about hygiene as they wash their hands before and after eating. At this time, they also learn dinning etiquette as well self-help and social skills.
12:40-1:00
Students are free to choose the activities that they want to do, such as dramatic play, craft work or table work. This helps to improve creativity.
1:00-2:20
Through these classes, students will develop creativity, inquisitiveness, sociability, and cooperation through various group activities such as Creative Art, Music & Movement, Gym & Health, Coding & Programing, Etiquette & Character, and Baking & Cooking.
2:20-2:40
At the end of the day, students learn how to organize and tidy-up the classroom and teachers enforce the need to be responsible for maintaining our environment. It is also a good opportunity for them to learn to sort and categorize objects, as well as cooperate with each other.
This is the time of the day for students to share with their classmates and teachers what they have done that day. It gives them an opportunity to practice speaking in front of a group improving their logical thinking and confidence.
Our classrooms are equipped with underfloor heating and air conditioners, the furniture has been designed for young children. They are also equipped CCTV.
We have small classes of 10 students to maximize the attention and focus on the children. However, for special classes (some Large-group Activities & Indoor Movement) the number of class participants may increase.
